The Cotton Patch is a UK company specialising in patchwork and quilting products. All of the prices on the site are in UK British Pounds Sterling. If you have any suggestions or comments please email us at mailorder@cottonpatch.co.uk

If you are emailing about an order or have a specific enquiry then it is very helpful to us if you include your name, telephone and postcode and an order number if you have one.

Making A Purchase
All Prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (inclusive of VAT). When you have selected the membership you would like (for one or three years) click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

When we have received your order for Cotton Patch Club Membership we will send you an email acknowledging receipt. This will contain a temporary Club Membership number and details of how to get your Club Discount on orders placed online. You should be able to place an online order as soon as you receive the email receipt. Your Club membership card with your unique Club membership number will be sent by post within two to three working days.

We accept the following credit cards - VISA, Mastercard, Maestro (formally known as Switch), American Express, Delta, Electron or Solo. If you are shopping from anywhere other than the UK your credit card company should convert the transaction to your own currency at the prevailing rate at the time of the transaction.

If you would rather send your credit card information via phone, fax or post you can print off our order form and complete the details using the reference numbers and prices on this site. Click on the button below and a new window will open with a pdf file of our Order Form (needs Adobe Reader).

Order Form

Online purchases and orders made by any other method cannot be combined. They will be treated as separate orders with separate postage charges and Club discounts for each order.
Shipping And Handling
There are no shipping and handling charges for Cotton Patch Club membership fees.

Delivery Schedule
Your Cotton Patch Club membership card will normally take between 2 and 3 working days from receipt of your order to despatch. Our orders are normally despatched by second class post.
Tax Charges
All our prices are shown inclusive of VAT (at 17.5%). If you live outside the European Union (EU) your Club membership fee will not show VAT when you check out and you will not be charged for VAT.

If you are ordering from outside the European Union or from any of the following countries or areas, VAT will not be charged: Jersey, Guernsey, Norway, Switzerland, Gibraltar and Canary Islands.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

When an order is placed we will ask for the last three digits on the signature strip on the reverse of the card. This is a security check to help prevent credit card misuse. For American Express cards the check digits consist of four digits on the front of the card.
Deleting an item from your basket
If you are in the browsing and shopping area.
Use the "View Basket" button at the top of the screen. Your shopping list will be displayed. On the right-hand side of each product is a Tick Box called "Remove". Click in the box so that a tick appears. Then click on "Update" on the options below the shopping list. The shopping list should redisplay with the item removed from the list.

If you cannot see the View Basket button at the top of the screen, then you are in the Checkout section. To remove an item press the Cancel Button first and then follow the instructions above.
Privacy Policy
The Cotton Patch do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket; once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses (if the address book is used) and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy
Cancellation and Returns Policy on Purchases
If you are unhappy with your purchase you can return an item to us. Within the European Union, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days beginning the day after the date that the item is delivered. It must be in its original condition and returned to us at our address shown above. Please call us or email us for a Returns Number. We recommend that you receive a proof of posting or send it by recorded delivery. We cannot accept returns of videos, DVDs, computer software that has been opened, subscription magazines or fabric cut to your specific requirements. We will issue a full refund less any Cotton Patch Club discount that was applied to the item. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective and therefore postage and packaging charges are not refundable. If we have to collect an item for you we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Please call or email us if you have a problem with an item that is damaged or defective. We will give you a Returns Number and discuss arrangements for rectifying the problem. We will refund the delivery charges incurred in returning the item to us (either via a personalised pre-paid envelope and return label, or by refunding your return postage costs). We check all items returned to us and if we cannot find a fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item(s) and to recover any costs incurred in recovering it from you.
